Sinfo-Nia Youth Orchestra (Still Waters Youth Sinfo-Nia Orchestra of Metropolitan Atlanta, Inc.), founded in 1990 offers quality instruction on stringed instruments (violin, viola, cello, and double bass) in an exciting, motivational, and nurturing environment. Sinfo-Nia has a structured curriculum for students ages 7-18 (and college students) – beginning, intermediate, and advanced.  

Sinfo-Nia performs a variety of music: classical, jazz, Negro spirituals, gospel, reggae, ragtime, “soca” (music of Trinidad & Tobago), country, Motion picture themes, Top-40: rock, R & B, hip-hop, and so on. Sinfo-Nia travels throughout the U.S. and has been to West Africa twice.  Sinfo-Nia is planning a summer trip to Jamaica in 2007. During the School-Year (beginning September 10th) Sinfo-Nia holds classes/rehearsals at the First Congregational Church Commons located at 125 Ellis St., Atlanta, GA 30303 on Mondays 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 12 Noon. Sinfo-Nia holds its annual Summer Camp for two weeks in June. for 2017, it will take place June 12-23 Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (early drop-off and late pickup available).
