NuSpirit Designs

Karen M. Smith is the owner/designer at NuSpirit Designs, a company begun in 2011. Seeking to combine her mindfulness practice with creativity and ecologically friendly living, the company was born. The very first offerings were mala beads and other kinds of prayer beads as well as a line of tees dedicated to mindfulness practice.

​Having lived over 20 years in the Bay Area, she was inspired by mindfulness, light and conscious living; in the time since she launched NSD, she’s also become a metalsmith and jewelry artist. She hand fabricates one-of-a-kind pieces and other wearable art thru her jewelry line called Sundarimani Jewelry. This fall, she is also introducing a line of mindfulness inspired jewelry thru NSD. Her primary mission at NuSpirit Designs is to offer functional beauty in many forms. We like to say mindfulness + beauty + function is what NSD is all about.
