Los Feliz neighborhood for 16 years, 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week. When we opened in 1997 our motto was “eat now dine later” and now, after 140,000 hours of continuous service feeding the community, we are pushing the re-set button to bring you a fresher, brighter, and super tasty dining experience – the kind of food you want to eat every day, serving it to you all day and all night every day of the year.
Fred 62 started as a pioneering diner with unique and original food like the Juicy Lucy, Mac n Cheese Balls and the Thai Cobb Salad that put it on the map. Fred 62 has always honored the classic diner while changing what diner food could be. Now, moving forward, our attention to the detail of making your food mindfully and with care will give you a reason to continue returning for many years to come.
Fred 62 is ready for a new close-up. Our menu is currently “under construction” – we’ve reduced our existing menu and are preparing to update our offerings with a new menu this summer. Under the guiding hand of Fred 62’s original chef and co-founder Fred Eric we’ll be adding contemporary takes on classic diner style dishes, a modern collection of specialty sandwiches, healthy options with plenty for the vegetarian, vegan and gluten free to enjoy and daily “Fred Plate” specials to enhance our dinner menu even further.
